Wolves Martial Arts teaches families of the Blue Mountains the martial arts of Taekwondo, Haidong Gumdo and Hapkido.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art. The word “Taekwondo” derives from “Tae” meaning foot, “Kwon” meaning fist, and “Do” meaning ‘the art of’ or ‘the way’. The main benefit of Taekwondo is its availability to all ages and both sexes. In our club, we encourage families to train and have fun together.

Family Friendly Club

Wolves Martial Arts was established in 1993 by Master Instructor Andrew Johnston. Wolves Martial Arts is a family friendly club, where students learn valuable life skills they can use in everyday life from learning the martial arts of Taekwondo, Haidong Gumdo or Streetwise Hapkido. Wolves Martial Arts has grown enormously due to our commitment to our customer service, and the professional programs we offer to our members.

Junior Programs

For the juniors, we offer age specific martial arts classes called the Ninja Wolf Pack (ages 5-8 years) and Commando Wolves (9-12 years) that specialise in focus and concentration. In these classes, they learn the benefits of group participation that help them understand behavioral boundaries in a fun supportive atmosphere of respect and courtesy.

Senior Programs

For the teenagers and adults, we offer Senior Programs (ages 10 years to 65 years) that are high energy traditional Taekwondo, Haidong Gumdo or Streetwise Hapkido martial arts programs. These programs are designed to get mind and body into shape, as well as learning how to protect yourself with self-defence techniques.

No experience necessary

No, you don’t need martial arts experience, or have a high level of fitness to start Taekwondo, Haidong Gumdo or Streetwise Hapkido. All our programs are specifically graded on the level or experience of the participant, so beginners can feel comfortable to train at their own fitness level in the appropriate class format.
